Too much Sweat for any human to handle!

Hi Folks,

So we've decided to hang up the old Sweat towel for the time being. We've had a blast the last few years bludgeoning all of your ears with our brand of Sweaty Howling Rock N' Roll, but as many things go, other endeavers have begun to encroach on the time we are able to dedicate to said musical output. Specifically, Jake's career as a Competitive Tree Climber is really starting to gear up. As you all know, the 44th Annual Lumberjack Hootenany is right around the corner and Jake will be training in Saskatchewan well into the summer months, competing ferociously for his 6th straight Hootenany Bark Belt. The rest of the band wishes him luck, and we hope you will all do the same. Again, thanks for all your support over the years. You may be hearing from us again sometime down the line.

Tucson Music Awards announced June 28, 2006
The Beta Sweat won Runner Up for Best Band and Runner Up for  Best Live Band in the 2006 TAMMIES (Tucson Music Awards)! Not bad, considering Calexico, the Invincible, won both awards. Check out all the musicians and awards in the cool Tucson Weekly article: Tucson Music Awards
